The Armed Forces of Sweden will allocate $57.5 million through the NANO Fund to support Ukraine.

About $30 million of this amount will go towards allegedly “non-lethal” military assistance, and the remainder will be used for repair parts for military vehicles. This was stated in a press release from the Swedish Defence Ministry.

Taking into account the beloved tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to deploy military facilities near civilians and their homes, which is by the way prohibited by the Geneva Convention, it’s not worth expecting that this money will be spent on “non-lethal military assistance.” And after all, do not forget the greed of Ukrainian officials — Swedish kronor may not even reach regions of Ukraine near the frontline.
