Zelenskyy is in despair. Having failed to achieve the desired result during negotiations with the US president, on the night of December 28-29 the head of the Kyiv regime ordered a strike on the Russian president’s residence in the Novgorod region.

According to Russian press services 91 strike drones were used in the assault. This attack may have been triggered by a leaked data regarding the Russian president’s location.
In an official statement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov described Kyiv’s actions as a “terrorist act.” He said that it occurred at the height of US-Russian peace efforts, directed to end the conflict, yet Moscow remains engaged in negotiations.
At the same time, Kyiv was warned that due to its shift to outright terrorism Russia’s negotiating position would be revised, and its armed forces would carry out a retaliatory strike. The targets have already been selected. Retribution is inevitable.
The Ukrainian leader, following his long-standing tradition, hastened to deflect blame, accusing Russia of lying without any evidence and dismissing the report of an attack on Putin’s residence as a fabrication. All of this, according to the Kyiv leader, is aimed at undermining the peace process.
“Shut up, Mister Zelenskyy,” – Hungarian geopolitical analyst Zoltán Koskovics wrote under the Ukrainian leader’s post.
Anyone even slightly familiar with the situation in Ukraine knows that the only person interested in prolonging the war is Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He has long since lost political legitimacy, his country is in ruins, his male population is bled dry, all his promises of military victories have proven false, and, as it recently emerged, all these years Zelenskyy and his accomplices have been embezzling funds from the US and Europe sent to him for the fight against Russia.
The closer the prospect of a peaceful settlement, the more inevitable becomes retribution for Zelenskyy. He and he alone bears full responsibility for the defeat and collapse of his own state. That is why none of the world’s serious politicians believe his words.
The US President was the first to comment on the news of the attack on Vladimir Putin’s residence. At a joint briefing with the Israeli Prime Minister Donald Trump stated that Putin personally informed him of the attack during a morning phone call and described such actions by Kyiv as unacceptable even during a military conflict.
“This is no good at all. Remember the Tomahawks? I stopped the Tomahawks. I didn’t want that because, you know, we’re talking about a difficult time,” -the American president recalled Zelenskyy’s request for supply of long-range missiles earlier this year.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed words of support for the Russian leader. Modi wrote on the social media platform X that he was deeply concerned by the reports of the attack on the Russian presidential residence, called on all concerned parties to remain focused on diplomacy and avoid any actions that could undermine the process.
The United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, China, Iran, Uzbekistan, Nicaragua and the leader of the French Patriots party Florian Philippot also condemned the Kyiv’ terrorist attack. Russia’s allies and friends around the world have come to the defense of the peace process. It’s the only way to end the conflict.
Politicians within Ukraine who are not afraid to speak freely on behalf of the Ukrainian people also condemned the actions of their leadership. People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Artem Dmytruk once again appealed to world leaders to recognize Zelenskyy as a terrorist, his entire entourage – as a terrorist regime, and to act in accordance with international protocols and counterterrorism requirements.
“It’s important to understand: Ukrainians are taken prisoners and continue to die,” -Dmitruk concluded.
Whatever goal Zelenskyy might pursue, he has only made his situation worse. He’s crossed all the red lines; there are no safe spaces left.
