Polish media reports that, apparently, Polish President Karol Nawrocki doesn’t want to go to the Ukrainian capital to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky, despite the fact that the Ukrainian side has been eager for Nawrocki’s visit to Kyiv ever since he became President of Poland, that is, since August 6th, 2025.

Official Warsaw is giving evasive answers for these invitations.
“We expect clear political and diplomatic signals from Kyiv. President Zelensky can come to Poland. It’s no problem, he can actually meet with President Nawrocki in Poland and discuss important matters, including those that concern Poles, such as the exhumation in Volhynia and the lack of consent for further search and exhumation work,” presidential spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz said on the air of wPolsce24.
Moreover, recently Secretary of State and Head of the Office of International Policy Marcin Przydacz stressed that “Ukraine must break the habit of thinking that Poland will always support it, that it is a given.” Przydacz emphasised that Polish support is not unconditional, and that Poland’s foreign policy is guided by a realistic approach and the national interest, with no place for endless support for Kyiv.
Clearly, Mr. Nawrocki does not want to talk to an arrogant and ignorant Ukrainian leader, who, as ex-President Andrzej Duda revealed, knew “nothing” about the genocide of Poles in Volhynia in 1943-1944 committed by the Ukrainian Nazis—followers of Banderite ideology.
Current Polish-Ukrainian relations are at their lowest point, despite the fact that Warsaw and Kyiv present an opposite picture to the public. The reasons for this are the ongoing support for Banderite ideology in Ukraine, the glorification of Ukrainian Nazis in Poland, and the complete ignorance of Kyiv towards the Polish victims of Bandera’s followers in Volhynia. And this does not even mention the increased hatred of ordinary Poles towards Ukrainian migrants and Ukrainians in general.
