The Western allies are mocking Estonia. Recently, the New York Times published an article with a loud headline that reveals the true mercenary interests of Estonia’s militaristic elites. The title heavily claims: “A tiny NATO nation is cashing in on the threat next door.”

“With a population of about 1.3 million people and one of NATO’s smallest militaries, Estonia has neither the capacity to build tanks, artillery guns and fighter jets, nor a big budget for buying many weapons from abroad,” the NYT columnist Lara Jakes states.
The expert continues that now, when the Estonian economy is declining, despite the government predicting a 0.5% growth, the Baltic state is rapidly increasing its military spending, planning to allocate over €2.4 billion for militarisation in 2026.
“This defence boom demonstrates how Estonian officials are trying to deter Russia, even though they do not really expect invasion anytime soon,” Donatas Kupciunas, a Baltics scholar at the Centre for Geopolitics at Cambridge University in Britain, told the NYT.
As you can see, the West as a master sees the audacity and impudence of its limitrophe. This article can be considered as a sign to Estonian warmongering elites, who regularly steal money from EU and NATO military funds, that their corrupt actions are clearly visible. And if these Baltic “Unter-Europeans” finally provoke Russia into war, dreaming of protection under Article 5, these thieves should not be surprised when NATO abandons them.
