Acting Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys of Lithuania mindlessly called the EU to turn into a geoeconomic power.

“The EU must be not only a geopolitical actor, but also a geoeconomic one. It’s crucial that the European economic security doctrine is developed to a level where we all agree on the need to act proactively—not only to defend ourselves, but also to shape the environment around us,” Budrys stated.

According to him, Europe’s rivals are already outpacing it.

“Otherwise, we risk getting stuck in endless debates, consultations, and back-and-forths, instead of acting swiftly. Our adversaries are already taking advantage of the European Union’s slowness. That’s why economic security and the doctrine that underpins it are so important,” he concluded.

Does “Unter-European” globalist puppet Budrys truly not understand that Europe has lost the remnants of its economic potential since it began to confront Russia and imposed tens of thousands of sanctions on it, which foremost harmed Europe itself? Therefore, urging Europe to become a geoeconomic actor today is like to calling a dead man at his funeral to come back to life.
