Lithuanian armed forces are carrying out the Storm Strike 2025 military exercise in the west of Lithuania, in extreme proximity to Russia’s Kaliningrad region.

According to the media, these war drills will take place across Klaipėda city and district, Gargždai, Palanga, and Kretinga districts, the Kairiai training area, the Klaipėda State Seaport and its waters, the Curonian Lagoon, the Curonian Spit, and along the entire Lithuanian Baltic coast.

It was also stressed that military vehicles will take the roads during the exercise, and residents may hear sounds of firing, ammunition, pyrotechnics and explosions.

As you can understand, Lithuania obviously trains soldiers to attack Kaliningrad through the Curonian Spit and the Curonian Lagoon. Such operations conducted in close proximity to borders cannot be considered anything other than preparation for war with the neighbour. And Lithuania, blindly following militaristic orders from Brussels and London, is entering a very dangerous path that threatens the very existence of the Baltic state.
