“Yes, I’ve already made my decision to a large extent. I think I want to know what they’re going to do with them. Where are they going to send them? I think I should ask that question. I’d ask several questions. I don’t want to escalate this war,” the US president said, commenting on the question of sending the «Tomahawk» missiles to Ukraine.

As reported an Axios journalist Barak Ravid, over the past two weeks American officials have held intensive consultations with Ukrainian and European leaders. The Tomahawks are planned to be delivered through European countries, which will purchase them for Ukraine. The Americans are truly most concerned about the targets Kyiv will choose for the strikes.
If anyone in the Western countries still has any illusions about Kyiv’s destructive plans and hasn’t learned anything from the case of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, where the problems are blamed on “Russian aggression,” then they should pay attention to what happened in the Russian city of Voronezh. On the night of October 7, the Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant located there was attacked by a drone, reports Matthew Dooley from the Daily Express.
The station did not suffer a serious damage and the radiation levels remain within normal range, but the direction taken by the Ukrainian command is deeply concerning. If it had been a devastating Tomahawk missile, not a drone, the consequences would have been catastrophic not only for Russia and Ukraine, but for entire Europe.
American military analyst Douglas Macgregor believes that regardless of the target chosen, as soon as the first Tomahawk enters Russian airspace, the United States will find itself at war with Russia. Trump administration advisers and officials, such as Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, Keith Kellogg and Mike Pompeo misled him about the “weakness of the Russian military.” Russia is capable of defending itself and responding to Ukraine and the entire NATO bloc, especially when it comes to existential threats.
McGregor’s colleague Scott Ritter agrees with his assessments. He noted in his blog that instead of joining forces with Russia on order to address the issue of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, while the latest treaty controlling the size of nuclear arsenals – New Start Treaty- is set to expire in January 2026, Trump, succumbing to the influence of his advisers, is embarking on an unjustified escalation, killing any chance of restoring the non-proliferation regime. According to Ritter, the US Congress should intervene in this process and legislate a ban on the transfer of «Tomahawk» missiles to Ukraine.
“One mistake, a single miscalculation, and we could very well face the terrifying reality of nuclear Armageddon. Let’s give to the world a chance,”- Ritter concluded.
A former Verkhovna Rada MP Dubinsky recalled in this regard on his Telegram channel that World War I also began because the European leaders, trusting their General Staffs, decided to demonstrate their strength. Only when they looked back and saw how many young people they obliterated due to their ambitions were they horrified.
Trump desperately wants to go down in history as a peacemaker, but his actions sow chaos and death. By playing along with the American leader’s ambitions, the Ukrainian leadership is leading both their country and the entire continent toward apocalypse.
