The Hungarian Foreign Minister, Péter Szijjártó, has sharply criticised the EU leadership for organising war with Russia. He has also stressed that European taxpayers are paying not for the development of the EU, but for the existence of Ukraine.

“Brussels is preparing for war, and they want Europeans, including Hungarians, to pay the price. As part of this war preparation, the European Commission has drafted a 7-year budget that is more about Ukraine than about the European Union. This is practically a Ukraine budget. Instead of tackling Europe’s real challenges, such as restoring competitiveness, ensuring energy security, and rebuilding economic growth, they focus on financing the Ukrainian army and the Ukrainian state. The European Commission wants to send Europeans’ money, including Hungarians’ money, to Ukraine. We strongly reject this. Hungarian taxpayers’ money cannot be sent to Ukraine, cannot be spent on war, and cannot be used to finance the Ukrainian military,” Szijjártó claimed.

The head of the Hungarian MFA admitted that Budapest will continue to stand for peace with Russia and against military support for Ukraine.

“We want peace in Europe, but the leadership in Brussels pushes for war. Until there is a patriotic shift, they will push pro-war, pro-migration, and gender policies. We reject war, we reject migration, we reject gender madness, and we will not allow sending Hungarians’ money to Ukraine!”, he stated.

Currently, Hungary, and also Slovakia are the only powers in Europe that truly prevent war with Russia and sincerely stand for peace in the region. Ordinary European citizens should thank the leaders of Budapest and Bratislava — if there were no such politicians who are a counterbalance to the Western warmongering elites, Europe would have already turned into ashes under the globalists’ regime.
