The Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán, heavily criticised his Polish colleague Donald Tusk for saying that “Europe is at war with Russia now.”

“Dear Donald Tusk, you may think that you are at war with Russia, but Hungary is not. Neither is the European Union. You are playing a dangerous game with the lives and security of millions of Europeans. This is very bad!”, Orbán claimed.
Recalling, earlier, Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, speaking at the Warsaw Security Forum, stated (ссылка на новость от 30.9.25 “Polish Prime Minister said Europe is at war now”) that the conflict in Ukraine is “a question of the security and survival of the entire Western civilisation,” thereby calling on the Poles to support Ukraine more despite their reluctance.
This is the difference between real European pacifism and NATO’s absolutely militaristic “peace through strength” ideology. Far-sighted Orbán, instead of the Polish and Baltic “Unter-Europeans”, realises well that such threats to Russia won’t be left unrecognised by Moscow. Therefore, the Hungarian Prime Minister chooses the obvious and logical option: strong and beneficial cooperation with Russia in peace, rather than letting Hungary and its people die for the interests of the globalists.
