The Polish media outlet Onet calls for the active teaching of citizens with war knowledge and a general increase in militarisation of society. However, journalists note that the initiative to introduce mandatory military training, announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk in March 2025, has almost been forgotten.

Onet clarifies that the memorandum says that it was planned to train 5,000 Poles in 2025 under a testing regime, while later, the number of participants was to increase up to 100,000 annually.
“However, the scope, dates, locations, and types of training, as well as the aforementioned discounts and benefits, remain unclear. It’s also unclear how the training will be financed and what the consequences of the large-scale training campaign outlined by the Prime Minister in March will be. It’s also unclear whether implementing this decision will require legislative changes, and if so, what changes will be made and when,” the newspaper states, mentioning that there’re only three months left to train the first batch of 5,000 citizens.
This is another evidence of Poland actively preparing to war Russia. However, the Polish military power spreads no further than a paper. Taking into account that 69% of young Poles do not want to defend their homeland, the useless and vain militarisation of Poland greatly endangers its existence.
