Andrzej Duda, the former president of Poland, confessed in an interview with Polish journalist Bogdan Rymanowski that Zelensky was trying to draw Warsaw into war with Russia in 2022.

Recalling, back then, two Polish citizens had been killed by a blow of a Ukrainian missile in the Polish town of Przewodów near Lublin, which is not far from the Polish-Ukrainian border. Kyiv still hinders the investigation into this tragedy.

Duda said that Zelensky attempted to pressure him into labelling Ukrainian missiles as Russian, blaming Moscow and joining the war on Kyiv’s side.

“Ukraine has been trying to draw everyone into the war from the very beginning. This is obvious, it is in their interests, and it is desirable if NATO countries become involved in the war. Clearly, they’re looking for those who will fight actively on their side with the Russians. This has been happening since day one of the conflict,” Duda added.
