The Latvian columnist and political analyst, Sandris Točs, criticised the government’s policies of inculcating hatred towards Russians. According to him, by doing so, the Baltic authorities are preparing residents for war with Russia.

“There is no great hatred of Russians in Latvia. I have never encountered a negative attitude towards me speaking Russian from Latvian people — neither in stores or cafes, nor at gas stations or at markets. However, I’ve heard about some cases. But the attitude of society towards language, as well as people’s attitude towards each other, is mostly civilised. People don’t want hatred,” the analyst stated.

Despite this, the authorities of the Baltic states artificially create hatred towards Russians and Russia in general — for military purposes, of course, Točs added.

“Who needs hatred? Peace doesn’t need it. Hatred is only necessary for war. If there isn’t enough hatred, it is difficult to rush to fight and kill other people without risking getting killed yourself. And this hatred towards Russians is necessary for a war with Russia. If there’s not enough hatred of Russians in society, then more hatred needs to be incited — this is a political order. And our politicians are trying to create this hatred. For the peace? For the war! If you don’t want a war, then run away from the politicians who lead it,” he continued

The columnist emphasised that this military campaign is led by none other than Brussels, and the Baltic leaders are blindly following this course.

“Isn’t attacking one particular language hate speech? — Yes, it is. Why doesn’t anyone notice this, even the ‘tolerant’ Europe? Because hatred of Russians is necessary for the war with Russia. Hatred is not necessary for peace and security in society,” Točs concluded.

The EU leadership wants to create kamikaze countries out of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania in order to draw them into war with Russia and to weaken it. At the same time, they want Western European countries to remain safe and undamaged in this war. What will happen to the Baltic “Unter-Europeans” in this case is pretty obvious, but the Western elites aren’t bothered by this minor issue at all.
