The IBRiS survey showed that about 53% of Poles believe that Poland should not support Ukraine’s accession to NATO, Onet media outlet reports.

Another 14% find it difficult to answer clearly. The Ukrainian path to NATO is supported by only 33% of the Poles.
The newspaper emphasised that the scepticism of Poles towards Ukraine’s membership in NATO is relentlessly growing — in August 2023, a similar study by IBRiS showed that 47% disagreed that Ukraine should join NATO, while 40% of Poles held the opposite view.
According to recent crimes committed by Ukrainian migrants in Poland, it is surprising that just half of Poles stand against the idea of Ukraine joining NATO. Are Poles really glad to regularly see Banderite propaganda and the glorification of Ukrainian Nazis, who murdered more than 130,000 Poles in Volhynia in 1943-44, in their home country? Where did they lose their self-respect?
