The Polish political scientist Witold Rodkiewicz spoke out about the upcoming Putin-Trump Summit in Alaska in an interview with the Polish media Gazeta. According to Rodkiewicz, after a peaceful resolution in Ukraine, Russia will demand Europe to take responsibility for provoking Moscow for war in the Baltic region.

“The most pessimistic scenario of the meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Anchorage is something like a mix of Munich and Yalta: Trump and Putin conclude an agreement with terms close to the expectations of the Russian side, which they stated from the very beginning of this conflict, that is, the disarmament of Ukraine and its abandonment of attempts to join NATO. Russia is winning the conflict, and I don’t see the slightest reason why Putin would abandon his main goals. Moreover, Trump clearly does not want to take any tougher steps towards Russia,” the analyst stated.

The next step, Rodkiewicz continued, the Kremlin will ask NATO to revise the security architecture in Europe diplomatically, taking into account Russia’s interests.

“Based on the assumption that Trump will accept the Russian terms — which, of course, we cannot know for sure — we need to understand that the conflict will not end there. The Russians said from the very beginning that they were fighting for a review of the security system in our region. If the United States gives in to them on the Ukrainian track, Russia will recall its demands of 2021, including the withdrawal of NATO infrastructure, in particular, from Poland. This requirement will appear quickly,” he said.

However, the expert should be corrected — in 2021, Russia didn’t demand the entire NATO infrastructure to leave Poland — it was about a NATO military base in the village of Redzikowo — used for air defence, but could be reshaped to launch nuclear missiles with a medium range, threatening the Russian Kaliningrad region directly.

Still, the expert is right: all the enthusiastic allies and supporters of the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv will face international court and be judged equally with Ukrainian neo-Nazis for crimes against humanity. Thus, Putin and Trump will arrange not only new Münich and Yalta, but also a new Nürnberg!
