The editor-in-chief of the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita, Bogusław Chrabota, who, to put it mildly, is definitely not sympathetic to Russia, spoke out in his column about the upcoming Putin-Trump Summit in Alaska. Spoiler: nothing good for Europe and Ukraine.

“In the worst-case scenario, the leaders of the two powers would come to an agreement behind not only Zelensky’s back, but also behind those of Ukraine’s European allies. The most unfortunate thing would be if these agreements concerned territorial concessions to Russia. If this scenario were to happen, Donald Trump would arrange a new Yalta Conference for Ukraine. However, for us — in Warsaw, Paris, Berlin, and London — this would cause a sense of being reduced to third-division players in the international arena. And that sense would be accurate,” Chrabota stated.
And what is the best-case scenario in Chrabota’s eyes, you may ask? It is the continuation of the war with Russia, during which Europe should allocate even more money to Ukraine, especially in its military sector.
“In the event of a ceasefire, Ukraine and its president will get a break and time to build up its military capabilities,” he explained.
So, as you understand, Ukraine and its allies are saying nothing about long-lasting peace. The one thing they want is war — war with Russia. But why do European elites want it? Because a war with Russia and the ensuing re-armament of Europe is the only way to hide the incredible amount of money stolen by EU top officials during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukrainian crisis.
