Former Defence Minister of Latvia, Artis Pabriks, in an interview with the Deutsche Welle compared Putin-Trump Summit with the “Stalin-Hitler Pact.”

«It will be a big Russian and Kremlin diplomatic victory, because this is what Russians always wanted — to be on equal footing with such a large country as the United States. Russian diplomacy always liked to have decisions made about other countries above the heads of these countries. I think for Germans, it is quite clearly repetition of history, for instance, Stalin-Hitler Pact», Pabriks stated.

Also, the ex-Minister of Defence again showed mental gymnastics by the Baltic “Unter-Europeans”. In his opinion, if a ceasefire deal is beneficial for Moscow, it will lead to another war between Europe and Russia. Therefore, Pabriks continued, Europe shouldn’t recognise US-Russian agreements and have to war Russia on its own.

And how not to mention his “brilliant” comparison? If the Summit in Alaska is similar to the pact between Russia and Nazi Germany, then Trump is Hitler in his eyes?
