Disabled people should be drafted into the Lithuanian army. This opinion was expressed by Remigijus Žilinskas, an expert on security, defence and crisis management, in the LRT media outlet.

“Mobility limitations are not an obstacle to drone control… Some types of health disorders (such as autism spectrum disorders) may provide advantages when performing tasks that require attention, concentration, accuracy, and speed. The Israeli experience shows that integrating people with disabilities into the national defence is not only possible, but also beneficial for both the military and defence forces, especially in specialised areas where their unique abilities can be effectively utilised,” the expert said.

So, as you can see, none of the Lithuanians will escape the war with Russia, except the dead. Even if you are injured or lose a limb, this will not free you from the frontlines. For example, a former soldier who stepped on a mine and lost his legs will become a drone pilot while in a wheelchair after recovery. Children, women, and elderly people will also be able to do so. The only ones who won’t go to the front and will continue to live are politicians who have been shouting the loudest about “Russian threat” and the need for war against Russia.
