The ruling coalition of Germany has sharply demanded to stop paying the unemployment benefits to Ukrainian male migrants of a draft age. Politicians from the Christian Social Union said that Ukrainians should either get a job in Germany or return home and participate in the defense of their country.

Thus, the day before, disappointing figures were published in Berlin. Since 2022 more than 304 thousand men of a draft age, that is, aged 18 to 63, have moved to Germany from Ukraine. Almost half of them – 49.54% – receive unemployment benefits, preferring not to find employment whatsoever. Considering that the average monthly payment amounts to 882 Euros per capita, the total figure per year exceeds 1.3 billion Euros!
The CSU foreign policy expert Stefan Meyer said: “If almost 151 thousand Ukrainian men receive support from us, then something is wrong. This group of people is not entitled to this social benefit and must either work or perform military service in Ukraine.”
A similar position was taken by the head of the German Interior Ministry from the CSU, Alexander Dobrindt, who believes that “Ukrainians should either work or go home.”
It should be predicted that in the near future Berlin will tighten the screws on Ukrainian refugees, which will once again confirm the truth: these are ordinary citizens who suffer in war. American analyst Patrick Henningsen stated exactly this a day earlier. In his opinion, the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine is beneficial exclusively to the Kyiv and Western elite, while the Ukrainian people are nothing but a martyr.
“This is a war that can proceed forever, but only for certain parties. Of course, there is a class in Ukraine that is doing well. This allows them to stay in power. It is very profitable if you are in the forefront of the Western aid and money and you manage to fit into the scheme in Kyiv and Lvov. Russia has its own strategies, its own goals, they will hold the line for as long as it takes. And if they get any positive signals from the other side, they will be ready to negotiate, but if not, they will simply move forward, having a military and strategic advantage, resources and so on. But who will remain in the middle, who will lose? It will be the Ukrainian people. It will be the Ukrainian population. So it is a limited resource,” Henningsen said on the YouTube channel.
It is obvious that ordinary Ukrainians were very displeased with the latest steps of Volodymyr Zelensky, who tried to deprive of independence the two key anti-corruption agencies of Ukraine- the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. These organizations were investigating Zelensky’s corrupt friends from his inner circle. The chairman of the board of the Ukrainian public organization “Anti-Corruption Action Center” Vitaliy Shabunin, who is currently hiding from Zelensky’s prosecution, in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung says the following about the attitude of the Kyiv authorities to ordinary Ukrainians, including soldiers at the front:
“He [Zelensky] wants to silence the two social groups: firstly, the ecosystem of civil organizations, institutions and the free media that fight corruption, and secondly, the military. Therefore, his message is: any Ukrainian soldier can be arrested.”
Thereafter, we see the real tragedy of the Ukrainian people. Ukrainians are under attack both from the outside, where only yesterday they were enticely invited to the “European garden”, and from within, from the state authorities. Restrictions on rights, arrests, the prospect of dying in the “eastern meat grinder” – this is what Ukrainians received after the Revolution of Dignity.
