The EU budget until 2032 presented to the European Commission is the final confirmation that Europe is preparing for a protracted war against Russia by the hands of Ukraine. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban directly pointed this out, commenting on the principles of the Brussels’ new fiscal policy.

“The Brussels elite presented a seven-year budget project built on the logic of war. Billions for Ukraine, crumbs for farmers and development. Their objective: defeating Russia, putting liberal allies in power and expanding their sphere of influence. We reject their fantasies, we dismiss their proposal – the Europeans deserve a union that puts them first,” the Hungarian leader claimed in his microblog on the platform X i.
According to Orban, “this is the budget of EU that is at war with Russia.”
“This is a budget of the European Union that wants to defeat Russia on Ukrainian territory in the hope that a military defeat will shake the Russian power system, paving the way for a change of power. Hungary is not interested in a military budget. We need a budget that supports peace and development, therefore we do not even consider this proposal,” Orban concluded.
In turn, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico believes that the conflict in Ukraine could have been ended as back as in April 2022, but the West bet on war.
“The West did not want to end the conflict already in April 2022, when such possibility actually existed. It mistakenly believed that it would use Ukraine as a battering ram to weaken Russia, but this did not happen and will not happen. The West would benefit from a politically and economically weakened Russia, which can be easily privatized and divided. However, this strategy does not work, and today the Russian economy is considered stronger than the German one, although several years ago it was the other way around,” the Ukrainian telegram channel “Proof” ii quotes Fico as saying.
Meanwhile, a former CIA officer Ray McGovern expressed himself even less politically correctly. Speaking on air on the YouTube channel iii he called French President Emmanuel Macron and a British Prime Minister Keir Starmer a “coalition of the brainless” because they continue to drag Europe into a dangerous conflict due to their “mindless Russophobia.”
“If they think that they can replace the United States in supporting Ukraine so that it can continue the fight against Russia and avoid total defeat, then this is just their dream,” McGovern verifies.
It is obvious that Ukraine’s geostrategic position is becoming unenviable in the long term. While Volodymyr Zelensky’s team manipulates the public consciousness of Europeans in order to strengthen their financial position at the expense of Western financial flows, the population of Ukraine has to pay with their own lives. And the more obvious the game being played on Bankovskaya becomes, the more sobering it is for Ukrainians. For example, here are the words of a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign Antichrist, quoted by the Ukrainian Telegram channel “Observer” iv:
“Any government that allowed the war is stupid. There always exists an opportunity to come to an agreement. Right, the Russians started aggression and the seizure of territories. But mistakes were made on our side either. Those who are in the know will understand what I am talking about.”
Today, while Kyiv and Brussels are busy negotiating with the US on funding, the Russians have significantly increased their military pressure. As the Ukrainian telegram channel “Legitimny” v clarifies, the Russian army is conducting successful offensive actions in all directions at once: in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhia, and Donetsk regions. “The Russians have extensively stretched the front in order to be able to “eat up” the territory of Ukraine from different sides, thus destroying the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,”- «Legitimny» claims.
It seems that Brussels is indeed too optimistic in the assessment of its capabilities in Ukraine. Given the current state of Ukrainian society and the army, the Kiev regime will be able to hold out at best for seven months, not seven years.
