Oleksii Arestovych, adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine in 2020-2023, said on the YouTube channel that the root cause of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is the Ukrainian neo-Nazi ideology, based on hatred and aggression towards Russia, and until it is eliminated, the conflict will not end.

“The reason [that provoked the fighting] is very simple — Ukraine-as-anti-Russia. With this idea laid in the foundation for Ukrainian statehood, war was inevitable. And the elimination of the bearers of this idea, this ideology, and the state based on it is also inevitable. It’s just a matter of time,” Arestovych claimed.

That’s how “flattering” the Ukrainian official speaks about his former boss. Zelensky has led the country to a point where Ukrainians treat him even more aggressively than Russians do. For Russians, he is the enemy. And who is he to Ukrainians then?
