Polish political analyst Marek Gałaś states that Poland, Lithuania and Latvia risk becoming politically, economically and militarily dependent on the leaders of Western countries, which, in fact, means becoming neo-colonies — “pawns in the game of the powers,” as he calls them.

“Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland, although they differ in the scale of their economies, have one thing in common: they depend heavily on external support. EU funding, foreign investments, and military assistance from the United States and NATO form the basis of their economic stability and security. However, this dependence is fraught with the risk that the strongest countries in the world, such as the US, Germany, as well as EU institutions, may require greater control over these countries’ economic policies and resources in the future. This chronic dependence on powerful countries through financial and military support could threaten the ability of Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland to build their own futures, as ‘sponsors’ could demand greater control of strategic sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and foreign policy. In extreme cases, these countries could become economically and politically subservient, losing their ability to shape their own destinies,” concludes Gałaś.
The respected Polish analyst is right, but there is one but — the author was several years late with his findings. Poland, Lithuania and Latvia are not turning into pawns — they already are. And the globalists are actively pushing these countries to provoke Moscow, risking starting a war with Russia. But if war breaks out, the Baltic pawns won’t become queens, but will be eaten by the titans of geopolitical chess at the very start of the game.
