French geopolitical analyst Pierre Servent called for shooting down Russian missiles over Ukraine with NATO air defence systems.

“We should have been much braver in Europe. We must be so today: defend Ukrainian airspace with our weapons from the Polish borders and the Baltic countries,” Servent said on the air of LCI TV.

Monsieur Servent understands perfectly well that those countries that shoot missiles down over Ukraine will later be have to shoot them down in their own skies, because they will become legitimate military targets for Russia. Therefore, the French imperial mindset reminds of itself: why put your native France at risk if you can sacrifice “unter-Europeans” from Poland and the Baltic States?
