Forbes reports that Ukraine has begun producing 5.56 NATO rifle cartridges to counter FPV drones. These ammunitions are also suitable for rifles from alliance countries.

“The rounds have already been codified under NATO standards, signalling Ukraine’s intent to begin large-scale production,” says Forbes correspondent Vikram Mittal.

Ukraine is no longer just a shooting range for Western weapons, but also a laboratory for the production of new arms for the needs of the “allies.” And after the conflict ends, the West will grab all Ukrainian military technologies and experience gained during the war against Russia, in order to definitely use it in the future.
