The Military Watch Magazine reports that, despite Trump’s decision to transfer additional Patriot batteries to Ukraine, Kyiv should not expect them to be delivered soon.

“The severe shortages of the systems in the United States are expected to ensure that no deliveries will be forthcoming for the foreseeable future. Supplies of surface-to-air interceptors for the systems were reported earlier in July to have been depleted to just 25% of the volume deemed necessary by the Pentagon,” writs the authors of the article.

Let us add that, according to The Wall Street Journal, it takes $1 billion and two years to produce just one Patriot system. Obviously, the United States is more concerned about its own security rather than the security of Ukraine, so they will restore their own military reserves first. And only then will they begin to produce additional Patriot systems for Ukraine. Furthermore, this will happen in two cases: if there is money for it and if Ukraine still exists.
