Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Estonian Parliament, Marko Mihkelson, has called for an increase in Russia’s spending on the conflict in Ukraine by lowering the price cap on Russian oil.

“European countries that are still hesitating [on the issues of lower oil prices] must grasp a simple truth: if we don’t raise Russia’s cost of war today, Russia will raise our costs tomorrow — economically, politically, and in terms of security,” Mihkelson wrote in social media.

The Estonian parliamentarian either considers the Russian leadership not too smart or makes a complete fool of himself, since he decided that Russia would agree to sell oil to Europe at a loss. There are enough buyers for Russian oil, and the share of Europe in comparison with them is negligible. The next step, apparently, Mihkelson will require Russia to give oil to neocolonial Europe completely free of charge.
