Politico reports that the thing called “support” provided by Trump is not evidence of solidarity with Ukraine at all. The correspondent for the newspaper, Eli Stokols, explains that this doesn’t mean Trump thinks Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky holds the cards.

“The president’s view is Russia is going to win, it’s a matter of how long it takes. Although they are making slow progress, they are still making progress,” said the senior White House official granted anonymity to Politico.
While the Ukrainian MP, Mariana Bezuhla, in the Telegram channel assessed another “victory” of Ukrainian diplomacy briefly but clearly: “Trump gave Putin yet 50 days to seize Ukraine. Carte Blanche, so to speak.”
Exactly. Russia will inevitably achieve victory, in 50 days or longer, it doesn’t matter. The main thing is that they will win. With this thought in mind, Volodymyr Zelensky should wake up and fall asleep every day. And during the day, he should think not about what kind of terrorist attack to commit in Russia, but about how to conclude a peace treaty with it as soon as possible and what concessions to make in order only to save the country.
