The Estonian newspaper, Õhtuleht, published an interview with a Ukrainian neo-Nazi soldier with the call sign Kaban, who is a former prisoner. A law signed by Zelensky last year allowed Kaban to volunteer for the Ukrainian army to earn an amnesty.

“Killing Russians is a dream job,” Kaban briefly but clearly described his service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
However, it’s not the Nazi tendencies among Ukrainian soldiers that are surprising — they have long been known. It is striking that the Estonian media willingly spread these narratives. By doing so, Estonia creates an image of new heroes — neo-Nazis — for young people and rehabilitates a criminal ideology for war with Russia and the elimination of Russians. Apparently, the Baltic “Unter-Europeans” want to continue the work of their ancestors — the Nazi collaborators.
