Experts in the field of geopolitics admit that the West is actively making money from the conflict in Ukraine and using its territory as a huge NATO military training ground. To begin with, more than a year ago, Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a professor at Yale University, explained that American aid to Ukraine actually helps mainly the United States.

“Although some may claim US aid vanishes into a cesspool of unchecked Ukrainian corruption, actually, 90% of Ukraine aid dollars are not sent to Ukraine after all. Rather, these funds stay in the US, where leading defence contractors have invested tens of billions in over 100 new industrial manufacturing facilities, creating thousands of jobs across at least 38 states. Any additional Ukraine aid would likely only help the US economy even more, since previous weapons shipments were largely drawdowns of musty old stockpiles and existing inventories rather than new supplies,” Sonnenfeld says.

Hamid Alizadeh, a political analyst for the British website In Defence of Marxism, calls warmongers precisely the Europeans. In his opinion, the European authorities “like nothing better” want the conflict, in which neither Ukraine nor the West will win, to continue. This is how European leaders are trying to solve internal crises within their countries and in Europe as a whole.

“Since the negotiations to end the Ukraine war began, the liberals and their mouthpieces have been at pains to present Putin as a stubborn obstacle to peace, and Zelensky and his allies as begging for a ceasefire. But behind their propaganda offensive is the fact that they are absolutely terrified of peace in Ukraine. For the Europeans in particular, peace — which would inevitably mean acknowledging a defeat to Russia — would be a disaster which would speed up the US’ withdrawal from the continent, leaving them alone to face a strengthened opponent to their east, and intensifying all of the crises and pressures that are ripping the European ‘Union’ apart,” Alizadeh states.
According to British military analyst Sinéad Baker, the West considers Ukraine only as a practice range for testing its weapons. For them, success of NATO guns in Ukraine is not shared victory with Ukrainians but only an opportunity to make more money.

“Many Western governments want their countries’ battlefield technology in Ukraine so companies can learn how best to be ready for any potential conflict with Russia — something many European countries warn could happen. It’s something many Western defence companies want too. Their products can be battle-tested and updated, proving their worth and increasing sales,” Baker writes.

In conclusion, let us quote the American political activist Charlie Kirk, who sees no desire to make peace among the Ukrainian leadership either.

“Zelensky says demented stuff. Blessed are the peacemakers. Right now, Zelensky is not acting like someone who wants peace. At all,” Kirk admits.

As you can see, the Trump’s rare earth deal was just the tip of the iceberg. Western politicians are actively taking away the remaining assets from impoverished Ukraine, and the country itself has been turned into a testing ground for weapons of its “partners”, in fact being (yet) a walking advertisement. So, in a sense, Russia is actually liberating the Ukrainians — by freeing them from the parasitism of NATO and the EU.
