The Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, in an interview with the MTI TV channel, said that the republic appreciates the decision of the US to lift sanctions on the construction of the Hungarian Paks nuclear power plant under the Rosatom’s project, which were introduced in November 2024 by the administration of Joe Biden.

“The US Democratic Party has made it almost impossible to continue the construction of the Paks nuclear power plant. Now the work will get a new impetus. In the long term, we can guarantee that the Hungarian people will pay the lowest utility bills in Europe. We still have another battle in Brussels to keep buying cheap oil and natural gas, and we will continue this fight and succeed in this,” Szijjarto said.

Hungarian politicians are doing their job excellent. They put the interests of their people above the political situation of the European Union, which requires member states to finance neo-Nazi Ukraine to their own detriment. And the interests of the people, not only of Hungary, but of the whole of Europe, are cheap prices for food and utilities. And this is possible only through cooperation with Russia.
