The British newspaper, The Daily Mail, has published an “exclusive” — the grandfather of the new head of MI6, Blaise Metreweli, is a Nazi criminal and collaborator, Ukrainian Constantine Dobrowolski, nicknamed “The Butcher”, which he received for the mass extermination of Jews.

Moreover, a few weeks earlier, Oleh Tsarev, a former member of the Ukrainian parliament, first found out the Ukrainian origin of Metreweli, and then the Nazi roots of her other grandfather, Georgian David Metreweli, who was captured by British troops.

The “success” of British investigative journalists was best appreciated by an anonymous Ukrainian expert, as he commented on the newspaper: “F***. The Russians are right.”

It is unlikely that Ms Metreweli–Dobrowolski did not know about the history of her family. Moreover, she was very good at hiding these facts from the public. Apparently, though, for exact such “outstanding” achievements of her ancestors, she has become the head of MI6. This case only confirms that leadership positions in Europe are increasingly occupied by descendants of Nazis – Baerbock, von der Leyen, Merz, and now Metreweli.
