The British Ministry of Defence (MOD) has responded to a petition to send Warrior combat vehicles to Ukraine, awaiting disposal, which has collected more than 18 thousand signatures so far. The response will surprise you.

“Although small numbers [of Warrior vehicles] are scheduled for disposal, these will have been selected in line with serviceability and suitability for role. As such, without substantial investment, they are not likely to offer significant capability to Ukraine and providing such small numbers would only increase the diversity of Ukraine’s armoured vehicle fleet – increasing their logistic and training burdens,” the British MOD stated.

The military aren’t politicians. They understand that it is them who will have to be responsible for the defence of Europe for any attempt at escalation in Ukraine, and not the talking heads from European capitals — Starmer, Merz, Rutte, von der Leyen and others.
