Estonian Interior Minister, Igor Taro, is once again scaring Europeans with “barbarians from the East.”

“The only aggressive neighbour of the European Union is Russia, along with Belarus. At this point, we need to recognise that this is a constant threat and a real problem for our security. Six EU countries have direct borders with Russia or Belarus. This is not just their border; it’s the border of the whole Europe. How quickly we implement modern technologies and train our personnel depends on how reliable this line of defence will be,” Taro said.
It is clear that there is simply no real threat to the European border from Russia, and even more so, from Belarus. However, the Baltic colony also need somehow to beg for money from their Brussels metropole.
