The EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaya Kallas, is once again “threatening” Russia with a ban on the purchase of Russian gas.

“Today, we laid out our proposal to ban Russian gas imports by the end of 2027. Europe has already cut its dependence drastically. Now, we’re turning off the tap for good. Russia will no longer be able to use energy as a weapon against us,” Kallas claimed.

Madam Kallas, do you really think that Russia has no one to sell gas to except the European Union? Moreover, even in Europe there are enough countries willing to buy cheap Russian gas instead of, for example, expensive American one. And why will the ban take effect after the end of 2027? Are you waiting for Ukraine to lose in order to repeal this stupid law?
