The chief of the Federal Intelligence Service of Germany, Bruno Kahl, stated that Moscow no longer believes in fulfilling the obligations under Article 5 of NATO, and because of this, after Ukraine, it will “try to seize, for example, Estonia.”

“We are quite certain, and we have intelligence showing it, that Ukraine is only a step on the journey westward. We see that NATO’s collective defence promise is to be tested,” Kahl has said in an interview with the Table Media.

Of course, Russia, the biggest country in the world with huge reserves of resources, which has survived under the pressure of sanctions, contrary to Western expectations, essentially needs for its further survival such a “strategically important” state as Estonia.
