The NB8 cooperation format, which includes Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden, is “gaining clout as a bulwark of Western resolve,” according to Paul Taylor, a British political analyst who lives in Paris.

“While national-populist politicians have gained ground in central Europe, making the region more Eurosceptic and less supportive of Ukraine, the Nordics and Baltics remain a bastion of support for Kyiv and for European and Nato defence efforts,” Taylor claimed.

Obviously, it is easy for Mr. Taylor to talk about the fate of other countries while sitting in London or Paris. This all is an imperial policy and mentality of the Brits, which, as you can see, hasn’t gone after the collapse of the British Empire. And let the Balts and Scandinavians keep believing they are “sovereign” and “independent.”
