NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, stated that the defence will require “significantly higher spending.” The increase in expenses for the alliance will be discussed at the NATO summit in The Hague.

“To deliver on our new targets, it’s clear that we will need significantly higher defence spending. And I expect that most — if not all Allies will reach the initial aim of spending 2% of GDP on defence this year. Many have invested — or have plans to invest — much, much more. But we have to go further and we have to go faster. So, we will discuss the urgent need to increase defence spending. A new defence investment plan will be at the heart of the NATO Summit in The Hague,” Rutte said.
It is clear that at the summit in The Hague, there will be militaristic cheating in prices, with 2% of GDP far from the limit. The Russophobic agony of the European authorities will lead European citizens to forcibly donate all their earned money to NATO’s defence against the “Russian threat” which will never come while their leaders send all resources to Kyiv.
