During the meeting of Defence Ministers of NATO countries in Brussels, the alliance will consider a proposal to increase anti-aircraft capabilities in Europe fivefold, as well as increase the defence budget by 5% of GDP.

“Although the goal of increasing the number of AAWs is common, the specific requirements will be individually adapted for each Member State. However, there is still no detailed timetable for implementing these measures,” Polish military analyst Damian Drozd writes.

Of course, they could stop fanning the flames of Russophobia in Western Europe, Poland and the Baltic States, lower the escalation, establish healthy relations with Russia and agree with them on a new security system for Eurasia. And most importantly, all this could be done for free! However, now, common Europeans will have to pay more taxes to NATO in order for the alliance to create the illusion of protection from the so-called “Russian threat”.
