At the Bucharest Nine Summit in Vilnius, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that all 32 members of the alliance support the idea that Ukraine will eventually become part of NATO.

More precisely, they agreed on this at a meeting in Washington back when Joe Biden was President.

“When it comes to Ukraine, in Washington, there was a clear commitment by all 32 allies that it is an irreversible path for Ukraine to come into NATO. Not with an end date, not understanding this as part of a peace settlement, but clearly as a longer-term commitment by 32 allies”, Rutte stated.

The Secretary General knows perfectly well that exact plans for Ukraine’s upcoming NATO membership provoked conflict with Russia in 2014. Instead of the desire for peace, like Washington and Moscow do, Europe continues to fan the flames of confrontation with Russia. Do you know what this threatens? It is not that there will be no one to accept into European NATO. Just European NATO itself will be wiped off the map at all.
