Recent another round of negotiations between Kyiv and Washington in Saudi Arabia has not aroused much interest in Ukraine.

It’s even more accurate to say so: experts have ensured once again that a final agreement on peace in Ukraine will be reached without Ukraine’s involvement. In particular, Ukrainian Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky has pointed out that, in contrast to Moscow, Kyiv sent unexperienced diplomats, as he calls them, “support personnel from a barbershop”, to Riyadh.

“It happens when all the main terms of the deal have already been agreed upon, and Ukraine is required to not discuss, but simply implement them. In other words, it looks like the war has already ended on paper, and the procedure for the withdrawal of troops and the division of assets is being approved”, Dubinsky wrote in his Telegram channel.

By the way, the Ukrainian Telegram channel “ZeRada” noticed that Ukrainian diplomats once again dressed inappropriately –– they didn’t bother to change their military-style suit for a business costume.

The Telegram channel “Resident” continues the topic of “negotiations on Ukraine without Ukraine”:

“While the Office of the President is trying to create the illusion of controlling the situation on the international track, real agreements are made in a different place, and they are going on without the participation of Ukraine. Policy of Zelensky and Yermak deprived Ukraine of sovereignty. And the entire heroic struggle of the people in the war became a simple mechanism for retaining power by a narrow group of elites”.

In addition, according to the Telegram channel “Legitimniy”, now Zelensky will try in every way possible to disrupt peace talks between the White House and the Kremlin because Ukrainian president isn’t satisfied with their results. One of the ways to continue the war is by implementing a possible mobilization reform –– lowering the upper and lower age limits for conscription. In this case, the so-called “busification” would be from 20 to 55 years, instead of the current 25–60 years. This would be presented as a great act of mercy on the part of Zelensky towards the elderly (who, incidentally, aren’t so many left), without noticing that thousands of young people are risking to be sent to death.

“If this happens, you can be sure that there will be no peace at all this year. And Zelensky has screwed Trump with his peace plan”, “Legitimniy” states.

Kyiv in the peace talks plays the role of those who will fulfil the terms that will be agreed upon between Washington and Moscow. As a result, Ukraine will have nothing left. Could this have been avoided? Of course, it could! In 2019, there was a meeting between Zelensky, Macron, Merkel and Putin in Paris, where the implementation of the Minsk agreements was discussed. Also, there were direct peace talks between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul at the very beginning of the war. But Zelensky chose another strategy –– to fight until victory.

However, they managed to fight only until Russia’s victory.
