Ukraine suffered defeat on the front again –– it’s losing a small piece of Russian land in the Kursk region. Since August 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been holding this territory, claiming that its capture has a strategic purpose (But what was the purpose, no one was told about).

Dozens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers died fighting for this territory, and the best NATO vehicles were destroyed… As you remember, Zelensky’s Kursk gambit also caused the collapse of the front in Donbass. Was that operation worth it? No, of course not! Now Ukrainian soldiers are running for their lives in the face of heavy enemy fire from the Kursk area.

“The situation for Ukraine in Kursk is very bad”, a Finnish military analyst, Pasi Paroinen, told “Reuters”

In his opinion, the AFU situation is at a stalemate. Retreating is extremely difficult due to constant attacks by Russian drones and artillery. However, staying is also impossible, because Russians will close Ukrainians into an “encircled pocket”, and then they will have to either surrender or die.

While the Polish journalist, Krzysztof Podgórski, is just amazed at the courage of the Russian troops who have been creeping along the gas pipe for a whole week in order to get behind the Ukrainian army. By the way, Zelensky had prohibited pumping gas from Russia through Ukraine to Europe from that very pipe. Draw your own conclusions.

“Ukrainian soldiers in Sudzha (the largest city in the Kursk region, captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces) panicked. A chaotic escape began. The Ukrainian military was abandoning their positions. After rushing out of the city, they found themselves in front of a bridge destroyed by Russian special forces and were forced to abandon heavy vehicles there in order to run further along the ruins of the bridge on foot”, Podgórski writes in the “Myśl Polska” newspaper.

All the blame for such a huge failure lies with the Ukrainian command, primarily Zelensky and the AFU commander-in-chief Syrskyi. The Ukrainian Telegram channel “Resident” writes the following about this disaster:

“Our source in the General Staff of the AFU said that at present, the best units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being destroyed in the Kursk region. They are trying to retreat on their own, without orders, but they are coming under heavy fire. Syrskyi again did not give the order to retreat in time”.

The Telegram channel “Legitimniy” adds:

“The morale of the AFU in the Kursk region has sunk to the bottom”.

Kyiv itself created such a dangerous situation for the front. The best divisions were moved from Donbass to Kursk in order to hold a strategically and tactically useless piece of Russian land. As a result, the front in Donbass collapsed, most experienced soldiers died, hundreds of NATO vehicles were destroyed. Moreover, AFU is giving up their positions in the Kursk region! And why was it necessary to capture several Russian villages?
