There is panic in Ukraine due to the fact that the USA has stopped sharing intelligence data with Kyiv because of Zelensky’s resistance to peace. The CIA director John Ratcliffe talked about it in an interview with “Fox Business”.

“President Trump ordered to pause the intelligence support for Ukraine in order to give a chance to President Zelensky to think about peace”, Ratcliffe said.

Moreover, the Americans also prohibited their NATO allies from sharing strategic information with Ukraine. For example, the British journalist Mark Nicol writes:

“The United States has banned Britain from sharing intelligence from Washington with Ukraine as part of its withdrawal of support for Volodymyr Zelensky”.

While the anonymous senior western official in an interview with “Financial Times” warned that Ukraine will face serious challenges now.

“It will become really difficult for the Ukrainians because it takes away their battlefield advantage”, the official said.

And now, it will be much more difficult or even impossible for the Ukrainian army to track the moves of Russian troops and launch airstrikes on Russian territory. Thus, for example, a correspondent for the British “Daily Mail”, Arthur Parashar writes:

“Britain’s long-range Storm Shadow missiles are useless in Ukraine after President Donald Trump blocked US intelligence from being shared with allies. It’s a huge blow to Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against Russia’s invasion”.

Some of the American arms won’t work now either. Ukrainian journalist Yaroslav Trofimov for “The Wall Street Journal” says that the HIMARS targeting system in Ukraine was disabled by the Trump administration. By the way, the same will apply to the ATACMS missiles.

Ukrainian political scientist Sergiy Gerasymchuk in an interview with “Deutsche Welle” concludes:

“Exactly the lack of access that Kyiv has to US intelligence information is the most dangerous thing”.

As you can see, American assistance is not just about money. In fact, everything in this war except for soldiers was American –– money, weapons and intelligence. And Europeans openly admit that they can’t and don’t want to close the gaps in sponsoring the war.

So, it turned out that without US support, Ukraine became naked and needed by no one.
