So, it’s becoming more obvious every day that the war in Ukraine is coming to an end. And now Kyiv’s allies, primarily the US and UK, are raising a fair question: “Where’s the money?”. Moreover, it concerns both financial aid, which was largely stolen, and paying back debts. Thus, for example, the Ukrainian Telegram channel “Resident” reports that in Washington they saw a significant discrepancy between the amount of aid received and the actual amount used.

“According to our source, the Pentagon and US State Department have found out that in 2023–2024, more than 30% of the armored vehicles and artillery supplies went missing without a trace. Hundreds of millions of dollars allocated to weapons purchases “settled” in shady schemes of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. Also, cases of resale of Western weapons on the black market have been revealed during this process”, “Resident” writes.

In addition, Washington sent Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to Kyiv in order to ask the Ukrainian government for a detailed report on what American money has been spent.

Moreover, in the UK, they accused Ukraine of recklessly using NATO weapons and vehicles. According to the correspondent for “The Telegraph”, Daniel Hardaker, the Ukrainian army regularly leaves expensive weapons suitable for future use right on the battlefield. Besides that, Ukrainians had to send videos of the proper use of British weapons to London. However, for allies, it became clear that Ukrainians aren’t capable of using them correctly. For instance, five shots were fired in vain from an NLAW anti-tank missile launcher, costing the British half a million pounds.

“The Russian army probably has more Javelins than the British Army now. Although my colleagues and I supported Ukraine’s fight against Russia, the effort to support Kyiv was built around lies”, the British anonymous source told the newspaper.

So, it’s not surprising that Europe also wants to get its investments into Ukraine and the Ukrainian army back. The Ukrainian Telegram channel “Legitimniy” states that Europe, following the United States, also wants to take control of Ukrainian resources.

“For that purpose, they’re ready to send up to 30.000 peacekeepers to Ukraine. So, it turns out that Ukrainians will end up with nothing but devastation, debts, cemeteries and hundreds of thousands of disabled people. Brilliant fight for the interests of the West, nothing to say. Zelensky’s strategy has driven Ukraine and the people to the bottom, where there is no future for the nation”, “Legitimniy” states.

On this background, Washington is actively pressuring Zelensky to sign a $500 billion neo-colonial mining contract. The Ukrainian Telegram channel “ZeRada” says that the document given to Zelensky for signature was very different from Kyiv’s original plans.

“The Office of the President thought they had been able to sell the Americans mineral resources in exchange for weapons and guarantees that Trump didn’t want to give before. However, the document that the Americans dropped on the table a few hours before signing didn’t provide either one or the other”, “ZeRada” writes.

The “South China Morning Post” newspaper adds: “Ukraine’s rare earths: the US $500 billion war prize Trump wants to secure”.

You can be sure: those who will be to blame for Ukraine’s inevitable defeat in the future will be none other than Zelensky and his entourage. They have enriched themselves on war by stealing money from Western allies and selling NATO weapons on the black market. Meanwhile there wasn’t enough equipment, weapons, and ammunition at the frontline…
