Once again, we see confirmation that Zelensky wants war, not peace. For example, the Ukrainian Telegram channel “Legitimniy” writes:

“All our sources say that Zelensky ultimately chose war and disruption of Trump’s peace initiatives. The American and European globalists are throwing Ukraine under the wheels of war in order to get any pretext to criticise Trump. They don’t give a f*ck about Ukraine”.

And Zelensky has already begun to act. His speech at the Munich Security Conference showed that there will be no peace through negotiation. Zelensky makes demands which will never be accepted by either the U.S. or Russia (for example, the involvement of the EU in peace talks, more weapons, and the right to a 1.5 million men army). Accordingly, war will continue.

Even some representatives of the political elite of the European Union are ready to support Zelensky in prolonging the war (but do EU citizens agree with this? No one asks). Thus, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, has said that the EU will continue to help Ukraine despite ongoing peace talks.

“As long as Ukraine is willing to endure, Europe is fully prepared to support Kyiv”, Kallas said on Estonian National Radio.

However, in Germany, the main economic power of the European Union, they do not share the view of the leader of the EU diplomacy. The military expert from Germany, Carlo Masala, admitted in an interview with “Bild” that peace talks will be held only between Moscow and Washington, while Europe simply won’t be capable to support Ukraine in this conflict.

“We’re empty. Just as we haven’t had a strategy for this war for three years, we don’t have this strategy now. Negotiations are being conducted over the heads of Ukrainians and Europeans. There will be no place for us at the negotiating table. We will have to accept the result. And unfortunately, it seems that this also applies to Ukraine”, Masala said.

While David Averre, a correspondent for the British “Daily Mail” comes to the conclusion that, without U.S. support, Europe won’t have enough resources or equipment even to defend itself in case of a Russian attack.

“If the U.S. and Canada are removed from the equation, the idea of a large-scale conflict between Russia and Europe is enough to have even the most seasoned strategists waking up in a cold sweat”, Averre states.

So, is it worth talking about the unquestioning support for Kyiv? The Telegram channel “Resident” answers:

“Our only support now is the United Kingdom and the European Union, but everyone already understands that they won’t replace the United States. This means, that we will have to wage war in a complex way in which Ukrainians do not believe Zelensky and do not want to die at the front now”.

So, it turns out that both the United States and Russia need peace, because they have spent too much money. While Zelensky and Europe, need war because they don’t want to lose their power. Moreover, Europe also gains security because Russia is busy with Ukraine, and Europe is not in danger.

Only one question remains: what do ordinary Ukrainians want?
