In Ukraine, they have again admitted the failure of the mobilization campaign. Recently, the head of the Kharkiv Territorial Recruitment Centre, Oleksandr Chepurnoy, said that there were no motivated men left in the city who wanted to go to the army.

“Only unmotivated ones left. They do not understand why they have to join the Armed Forces [of Ukraine] and protect their homeland. This is what we hear every time”, said Chepurnoy on the air of “Nakypilo” radio.

The Ukrainian telegram channel “Nabludatel” also revealed some details about the mobilization process. According to its information, Ukraine is facing serious difficulties on this issue.

“Plans to attract new fighters are not being implemented. The level of implementation doesn’t even reach 60%. Most Ukrainians are seeking to avoid falling into the hands of military commissars at all costs”, “Nabludatel” notices.

Telegram-channel “Legitimnyi” wonders: is there a need for new soldiers on the crumbling frontline? It also says that Zelensky allegedly agreed on Trump’s peace formula, even with territorial concessions, but is afraid to tell people of Ukraine about it.

“The reason for that is trivial. The military, as they find out, may refuse to fight. After all, no one wants to die at the finish line if everything is already almost solved. Zelensky may also be asked, why did he send thousands of soldiers to attack (actually, to die) if he already agreed to peace and cession of territories?”, “Legitimniy” states.

It won’t be surprising if it turns out to be true, because Donald Trump at the World Economic Forum in Swiss Davos admitted that “Ukraine is ready to make a deal”. About this, the 47th U.S. President stated in an interview with “Fox News” too:

“Zelensky, I will say this: he wants to settle now. He had enough! He shouldn’t allow this war to happened [initially]. He is fighting a much bigger entity, and much more powerful one. He shouldn’t have done that. We could’ve made a deal [instead of war] so easily. But Zelensky decided that he wanted to fight”.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Telegram channel “ZeRada” considers that the upcoming peace agreement will be much worse than the draft of the first peace treaty that Ukraine and Russia almost signed in spring 2022 in Istanbul:

“The terms of the future peace will be much worse than those of the first Istanbul agreement. For what did we fight for 3 years then?”.

For experts, it’s obvious that Zelensky could avoid this war and save his country, his people, and his economy. But instead, he chose to challenge the largest country in the world, with infinite resources and an enormous army. Now, Ukraine has nothing left.

Only Zelensky himself remains.
