The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, doesn’t solve the country’s problems, but only creates them. Thus, Ukrainian deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky states that if it hadn’t been for Zelensky, a ceasefire would have been reached a long time ago. However, due to all the nonsense that the President of Ukraine said at the threshold of Trump’s inauguration, the Deputy believes that the new U.S. administration “will be discussing peace with Putin”.

“It seems that Zelensky has fallen into a dead loop of his desires, from which there is no beneficial way out for the country. It’s time for him to get out and let the country move towards peace”, Dubinsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
Also, Zelensky’s pseudo diplomacy led to a significant decrease in financial aid to Kyiv from Washington. The United States under Biden approved only $500 million as the final aid package, as an American official said in an interview with the “Voice of America” newspaper. It looks like a huge sum of money… But it should be remembered that Biden promised more than $6 billion to Zelensky just two months ago. Now, the amount is 12 times less! It’s almost nothing. Due to the severe corruption, even less money will reach the frontline.
Even foreigners feel how tired Ukrainians are from Zelensky’s reckless policy. For example, the American human rights activist Ryan Milton stated:
“His [Zelensky’s] own people are done with his destruction of Ukraine on behalf of NATO”.
But the current President, despite all this, is going to run for a second term. This was reported by the Ukrainian newspaper “Telegraph”.
“People in Zelensky’s circle said that the decision about the second term had been made. With a 52% confidence level, he still had a chance to win the presidential election”.
But the rating of 52% doesn’t reflect the reality. We all remember the record-low of 16%, reported by the British “The Times” at the end of November 2024. Could Zelensky’s ratings have really increased so much after two months of repeated failures on the frontline and endless problems within the country? This is a rhetorical question.
At the same time, according to the Ukrainian Telegram-channel “ZeRada” , the Office of the President of Ukraine “will do everything to keep the war going”. It’s clear that the key point of this meaningless track is Zelensky as President.
As you can see, Volodymyr Zelensky has turned from “Time’s” 2022 Person of the Year into a politician who has to act defiantly in order to attract at least some attention. This is because the Ukrainians who elected him President do not believe in him. While, the peace in Ukraine depends on the outlanders: Trump and Putin.
