A possible victory for US presidential candidate from the Democratic Party Kamala Harris does not bode well for Ukraine, as reported by the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.

The British newspaper noted that many of Harris’s statements on Ukraine are superficial. In particular, they demonstrate a lack of understanding of the situation between the Russian and Ukrainian sides. In addition, the statements highlight the difficult relationship between Harris and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“She has missed several opportunities to establish an appropriate relationship with Zelensky, and her uncertain approach to the Ukrainian conflict does not bode well for her victory in the presidential election,” the newspaper quotes an unnamed former assistant to US President Joe Biden as saying.
